Head of Design
At Animal Health Innovations (Petari)
DUTIES:
- Design the brand’s visual identity across mobile app, clinic interior design, and packaging.
- Define company UX process and end-to-end UI design, drive designs for new user experiences, and help influence the product roadmap.
- Synthesize user feedback into user needs and features.
- Work with business, product management, and engineering teams to discover project goals, align on scope, capture requirements, set expectations, and deliver design solutions.
- Run brainstorming and concept discovery sessions, and work with development teams to validate designs with business, product management, and engineering teams.
- Craft wireframes and mockups with business, product management, and engineering teams.
- Discovering technical constraints.
- Verify that the final code matches the final design/product.
REQUIREMENTS
Master Degree in Design Engineering or similar discipline (or foreign equivalent) & 36 months experience as a Design Leader or Design Director in the healthcare industry or related
SPECIFIC SKILLS/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in team and project management and skilled in Jira, Confluence, Monday.com.
- Experience creating UX and UI design and business strategies.
- Experience with UI/UX software Sketch, Figma, and Zeplin.
- Experience with 3D software Keyshot, Pro Engineering, Cinema4D.
- Experience with 2D design software Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Audition, and Adobe Media Encoder.
- Experience creating app and website designs that comply with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0).
- Discovering technical constraints.
- Verify that the final code matches the final design/product.
